Here Comes Peter Cottontail...

Last weekend we celebrated our first Easter with Michael in our lives and boy was it enjoyable.  Scott and I had off of work on Friday so we started the day by having brunch with Michael at Bubby's in TriBeCa.  They only take reservations during the week so this was a great time to stop by a great restaurant which also happens to be very family friendly.  After Michael's second nap we took him for a stroll in his new stroller to Grand Central and back.
Here is Michael on Saturday playing with the signing, egg laying hen his Grandma Pam sent

On Easter we "hid" Michael's baskets when he was down for his first nap.

We have videos of Michael "finding" each of his baskets
He really enjoyed his Easter toys

Here is the second basket video
And showing off his Bunny ears

He helped mommy and daddy with our baskets

During my picture sequence (I could not see this happening) Michael took a bite out of my Cadbury egg!

he bit right through the wrapper.  That's my boy!
We figured if Michael wanted to eat he could try some of his own Gerber "cheetos"
He ended up not really being that interested in his own food.  LOL.

Then we went to brunch at Brasserie 8 1/2 which is a family tradition for Scott and I.
I think Michael was disturbed by the cabbie's driving....

He was so well behaved and we enjoyed sharing our special brunch spot with him.
Michael loved seeing the Easter Bunny for the first time.  Any time he came by us Michael would smile and once he waved.

We are so proud of our little man; he's growing up so quickly.
On Sunday after Michael's nap (brunching wore him out), we met up with Daniella and her mom and aunt at Bryant Park.  It was a beautiful, sunny spring day!

Hope you all enjoyed your Easters as much as we did.  Love, The Barry Family.
