Spring Break!

The Barry clan decided despite the mild winter in NYC we were all looking a little pale and needed some fun in the sun with our favorite family and friends in Florida.  We took a week off from work and Michael was gracious enough to step away from his busy social calendar and we headed to the Sunshine State- first stop Boca Raton!

Here Michael is leaving NYC-
Once we got to Florida he was more than happy to lose the pants and get some sun on his legs.
Little did we know that Michael is a pro at "pumping" himself in the swing.  He goes to the park a few times a week in NYC with Maxine.  Watch the video

He was so happy to see his dogs friends- Cheat and Valentine
And he loved spending time with Grandpa Kenny!

He entertained all the guests who came to celebrate Uncle Kenny's Birthday.

He was having so much fun he stayed up past bedtime!  (thats what vacation is for, right?!?)

On Monday we had a lunch with Grandpa Bob, Grandpa Kenny, Uncle Jordan and Denise.
And later we had a play date with cousins Mason and Jenna- Michael loves going to their house.
 And borrowing their toys...

I think Uncle Bobby needs at least one more kid- look at what a good juggler he is!

Finally, Scott and I were able to join our wonderful friends at Rocco's tacos to celebrate Mandy's somethingith birthday!

On Wednesday we headed up to Vero in our huge Tahoe rental car with dvd player for Michael (this really did make a difference he sat in his new big boy front facing car seat and watch tv and was able to see more stuff so he wasn't as fussy) to visit Grandma Pam and Grandpa Mike.  We really enjoyed our walks around the neighborhood and relaxing by the pool.  The outlet shopping wasn't too bad either.

Michael liked Pam's piano-
I have some swimming pictures I need to add here but they are on the other camera :-(

When we got back down to Boca- Bobby, Mason and Jenna came over on St. Patrick's Day for breakfast
Michael was concerned about those green eggs he has heard of...
Michael started clapping during our trip!

And later we headed to Delray for the St. Patrick's Day Parade.  We hung out at Meghan and Tim's townhouse before hand, luckily, because it was 81 degrees out.

Here is Michael with Jamie.  (He's almost as big as her now)
And then we enjoyed one last night of playing in FLA before bed-

We had a really wonderful trip and were very happy to be greeted with unseasonably warm weather when we returned to NYC.  It has been in the 60s and 70s all week!
