Florida and Halloween- What a Treat!

We recently went down to Florida with Michael for a trip to see family and friends and so he could spend Halloween with his cousins!

Michael was a great boy on the flight- he should be his own Jetblue commercial to advertise the need for TVs on flights-

Touch down in West Palm Beach!  We are excited to see the sun and the warm weather...honestly, there was very little sun on our trip but I guess that is OK since my husband and baby are so fair skinned.

Michael, relaxing at Gran's (Gran is my mom Judy).  I got this onsie for Jordan's liking- "I'm only doing this until my band gets signed"

On Friday we took Michael to the Whale's Rib to see Little Kenny at work.  Michael got tired of watching us all eat!

Then we took him to sink his toes in the sand of Deerfield Beach.

(also, Scott doesn't get to be the video camera man again.  Great, we all know what Michael's hat looks like!)

On Saturday we drove up to Vero Beach and drove through a Tornado Warning and with in about 5-10 minutes of a tornado in Hobe Sound (Scott and I then debated tornadoes vs. snow storms for the rest of the trip) (click on "Hobe Sound" to read the article on the tornado)

We did in fact make it to Vero to spend time with Scott's mom Pam and her husband Mike in their beautiful new home.  We were so excited to get Michael in the salt water pool for the first time.

Michael enjoyed it but the water may have been a touch too cold for him.

So then he got out and sat with mommy.
And then he played with daddy and grandma Pam
He was enjoying playing chase daddy!

We also took some nice walks but I guess Michael was worn out from all the playing-

Sunday we went back down to Boca in time to watch the Bills game at Bru's room with family and friends.  Michael stayed home with Gran but still wore his Bills outfit to match daddy.

On Monday we met Jamie for lunch at Brewzzi's
He was wearing one of the onsies Jamie got him. It really brought out his eye color.

The best part of the trip was taking Michael to his cousins, Mason and Jenna's, house for their annual Halloween party and trick or treat!
Michael was the Stay Puft Marshmallow man from Ghostbusters.  The costume, which I made, just suited his awesome chunky legs and the fact that we live in NYC where the movie takes place.  Scott and I were Ghostbusters.  I think Michael was proud of his costume!

His cousins Mason and Jenna were excited to see him.

(yes, I think that is Mason testing out Michael with his toes)
Then Mason and Jenna got their costumes on, they were super heros!

Mel came to help mommy collect Michael's candy!
I had a great time (I mean Michael had a great time) trick or treating.
Michael woke up about half way through trick or treating and was hanging out until 8:30pm.  He changed into his after party outfit-
We really had a wonderful trip and are looking forward to spending 12 days in Florida over Christmas.  Also, everyone is coming to us this Thanksgiving to see the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade from our terrace.  Can't Wait!!!

What could make Fall better?

I have recently found the answer to that question-
What was once a wonderful season because of the cooling temperatures, changing leaves, beginning of football season and my favorite holiday- Thanksgiving has only gotten better because now we have Michael to share all these things with.

Michael may not understand football yet, but he is a Buffalo Bills fan for life...
He has been a little apprehensive about his legacy since the beginning.

But after a preseason win in Buffalo, and a Steve Johnson teddy bear from Uncle Jordan, he kind of got into it-
We now watch the games at home on our TV with Direct TV for the laptop- He didn't know what to think when the regular season started, he has heard so many mixed reviews.

But then we even beat the Patriots!
And now he's into it as much as we are-

On Saturdays, we often take Michael out for walks around the City.
He's not very fond of department stores.
He does like being outside-

But sometimes he gets tired; and we get thirsty-
Micheal is known in certain circles as the baby who sleeps in the park swing (this has happened more than once). People must think we keep him up all hours of the night. HAHA.
AND he already has a girlfriend and they have been spotted meeting up at Gymboree and on play dates-
In the beginning he played hard to get and made her cry but now he's put down his guard.
But now the rumor around Gymboree is that he and baby Maxine are an item. She was born June 9th, older woman!
They are actually on  a play date in Central Park as we speak.  How romantic.

Michael loves fall!!
World Series-
Sabres Hockey just started-
And Halloween is on the way-
And luckily, his mom likes clothes shopping!

Are you excited to find out what Michael is going to be for his first Halloween?  I made his costume myself and Scott and I are dressing up as well.  To be continued...

10 Weeks Already !!!

Hi everyone,

Wanted to take a quick minute while Michael is sleeping to update my blog and send out some wonderful pictures of our amazing little boy.  Scott and I were sitting here looking at how little Michael was when he was born compared to what he is now...they grow so quickly.  He is such a great boy and a little snuggler.  Here are some of my favorite pictures from his first 2 1/2 months.
